Softball Recap: Platt Tech Victorious

Platt Tech's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Hillhouse Academics, sneaking past 11-10. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Panthers considering their two-run performance the contest before.

Platt Tech's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-9. As for Hillhouse, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Platt Tech will take on Wright Tech at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Warriors have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.88 runs per game on average), something the Panthers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Hillhouse, they will face off against Wilbur Cross at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The Academics are facing the Governors at the right time seeing as the Governors are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
