The Bracken Christian Warriors will challenge the Hebbronville Longhorns at 1:45 p.m. on Saturday. Hebbronville took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Bracken Christian, who comes in off a win.

Bracken Christian saw some tournament action on Friday. They came out on top against Freer by a score of 6-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

The team relied heavily on Dalton Dresch, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Bracken Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .450. The last time their batting average was this high was back in February of 2024.

Meanwhile, Hebbronville unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bracken Christian.

Federico Serna made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with four RBI and two doubles. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Moore, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2.

Bracken Christian's win bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Hebbronville, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4-1.
