Basketball Recap: Leavitt Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Leavitt, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 57-41 win over the Waterville Panthers on Tuesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Hornets as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Leavitt's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Waterville, they dropped their record down to 2-10 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Leavitt will take on Mount View at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Waterville, they will head out to square off against Morse at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Waterville is facing Morse at the right time seeing as Morse is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
