Soccer Game Preview: Terry Sanford vs. South Garner

The Terry Sanford Bulldogs will take on the South Garner Titans at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. South Garner took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Terry Sanford, who comes in off a win.

Terry Sanford took a six-goal defeat the last time they faced off against Overhills, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Terry Sanford came out on top in a nail-biter against Overhills on Tuesday, sneaking past 2-1.

Zaniya Reddick and Taylor Stangle scored both of Terry Sanford's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Meanwhile, after soaring to five goals the game before, South Garner was a bit more limited in their matchup on Monday. They fell just short of Neuse Charter by a score of 1-0. Madelyn O'Neill was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on her (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

Terry Sanford is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. South Garner's loss dropped their record down to 1-3-1.
