Greendale lost to Whitefish Bay back in September of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Panthers walked away with a 2-0 win over the Blue Dukes.

While Greendale won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 26-24.

Xavier Zimmerman paced Greendale's offense, picking up 16 kills. Zimmerman got some help from Jakup Ademi and his 22 assists. Zimmerman was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Greendale's victory bumped their record up to 3-14. As for Whitefish Bay, their loss was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-9.

Greendale didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Wauwatosa East on the 4th. As for Whitefish Bay, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Kettle Moraine on the 4th.
