It was a good run, but South Greene unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 60-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Austin-East Roadrunners. If the Rebels were looking for revenge after losing 71-57 to the Roadrunners when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

South Greene's defeat dropped their record down to 22-10. As for Austin-East, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-16 record this season.

South Greene does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Austin-East, they will take on Alcoa on Thursday. Alcoa knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 23 contests -- so hopefully Austin-East likes a good challenge.
