Manteca has gone 10-0 against Sierra recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Manteca Buffaloes will welcome the Sierra Timberwolves at 7:30 p.m. Manteca will be strutting in after a win while Sierra will be coming in after a loss.

Last Saturday, Manteca didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Oakdale, but they still walked away with a 58-52 victory.

Meanwhile, Sierra was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 41-36 heartbreaker at the hands of Oakdale. While losing is never fun, the Timberwolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 945th, while the Mustangs are ranked 415th).

Manteca's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-10. As for Sierra, their loss dropped their record down to 5-11.

Manteca skirted past Sierra 44-41 when the teams last played back in January of 2024. Will Manteca repeat their success, or does Sierra have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
