Soccer Game Preview: Lowry vs. Elko

The Lowry Buckaroos will challenge the Elko Indians at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Lowry will be strutting in after a victory while Elko will be coming in after a defeat.

Lowry's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Fernley.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Elko was not quite Spring Creek's equal in the second half on Thursday. They fell 3-1 to the Spartans. Elko fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Spring Creek since Thursday.

Elko's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 7-1-1 and their overall record down to 10-4-4. As for Lowry, their victory bumped their record up to 3-11-5.
