After a string of three wins, Weequahic's good fortune finally ran out on Sunday. They lost to the DePaul Catholic Spartans at home by a 60-42 margin.

Despite the loss, Weequahic still got an impressive performance from Shaun Hamilton, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 boards. Hamilton is becoming a predictor of Weequahic's success: when he posts at least eight rebounds the team is 4-2 (and 5-6 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was Tasir Barnes, who posted two points in addition to five boards and four steals.

Weequahic's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-8. As for DePaul Catholic, they now also have a winning record of 9-8.
