Softball Recap: Putnam Takes a Loss

Putnam was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They fell 6-3 to the Wilsonville Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-2 on Friday.

Putnam's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Wilsonville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-7 record this season.

Putnam has already played their next game (against Hillsboro), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Wilsonville, they will challenge St. Helens at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lions will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight.
