Basketball Game Preview: Woodlawn Bears vs. Ouachita Warriors

Woodlawn is 1-9 against Ouachita since January of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Woodlawn Bears will take on the Ouachita Warriors at 5:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Thursday, Woodlawn was able to grind out a solid win over Junction City, taking the game 50-42. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bears.

Meanwhile, Ouachita didn't have too much trouble with Fordyce on Thursday as they won 61-47.

Woodlawn pushed their record up to 16-12 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.5 points over those games. As for Ouachita, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-13 record this season.

Woodlawn didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Ouachita in their previous meeting two weeks ago, but they still walked away with a 67-61 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Woodlawn since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
