Recap: Randall Raiders vs. Hereford Whitefaces
It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but The Randall Raiders ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They walked away with a 27-20 victory over Hereford. The victory was just what Randall needed coming off of a 48-7 defeat in their prior matchup.
Among those leading the charge was Tryston Sanchez, who rushed for 133 yards and two touchdowns. Dylan Ray was another key contributor, rushing for 89 yards and a touchdown.
Despite the loss, Hereford saw an underclassman step up: Kalub Ramirez threw for 247 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
Randall is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Hereford, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-3.
Randall does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Hereford will be playing at home against Dumas at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
