Sterlington has gone a perfect 4-0 against Weston recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Panthers will head out on the road to face off against the Wolves at 6:00 p.m. The last three games Sterlington has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

It was a proper cat-fight when Sterlington faced off against Neville on Tuesday. The Panthers had just enough and edged out the Tigers 2-1. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Weston's rock-solid pitcher showed up for the team's fourth consecutive shutout on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over Choudrant. The Wolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by six runs or more this season.

Liam Weaver made a splash no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Dawson Griffin, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Beaux Oliver, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three runs.

Sterlington's record now sits at 23-5. As for Weston, their record is now 17-9.

Everything went Sterlington's way against Weston when the teams last played back in April of 2025, as Sterlington made off with a 10-1 win. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Wolves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
