It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Upper Dublin had no problem doing just that on Monday. They came out on top against the Upper Moreland Bears by a score of 7-2. The victory was some much needed relief for Upper Dublin as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Kyla Garrison was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 11 over seven innings pitched. Garrison has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in seven consecutive pitching appearances. Garrison was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and a double.

Garrison wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Kaitlyn Small, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.

Upper Dublin's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-11. As for Upper Moreland, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 11-6.

Upper Dublin didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 12-0 defeat vs. East on the 22nd. Upper Moreland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
