Basketball Recap: Sand Point Comes Up Short

Sand Point's last matchup with King Cove could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Friday. The Eagles/Lady Eagles came up short against the T-Jacks and Rookies, falling 54-34. The Eagles/Lady Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

It was another big night for Michael Chase Gould, who posted 21 points for King Cove. Leighym Brandell was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Sand Point now has a losing record of 4-5. As for King Cove, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the T-Jacks and Rookies beat Sand Point by a score of 49-45 on Saturday.
