With a playoff win on the line, Douglass rose to the challenge on Monday. They walked away with a 45-33 victory over the Frost Polar Bears. Winning may never get old, but the Indians sure are getting used to it with their 12th in a row.

Several Polar Bears players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Averyn Surovik, who posted five points and three blocks. The dominant performance gave Surovik a new career-high in blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Brenda Manrriquez, who scored 18 points.

Douglass' win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 26-9. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.9 points over those games. As for Frost, their loss dropped their record down to 26-10.

Douglass didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 51-31 defeat against Martins Mill on the 20th. Frost does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
