Basketball Game Preview: Westlake Christian Academy Eagles vs. Grayslake North Knights + Official Tickets

Westlake Christian Academy is 0-5 against Grayslake North since February of 2021 but things could change on Tuesday. The Eagles are taking a road trip to face off against the Knights at 7:00 p.m.

Despite the defeat, Westlake Christian Academy had strong showings from Josh Cook, who almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine rebounds, and Johno Ledr, who shot 44% from the field on his way to 17 points along with six assists and six boards. Ledr is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. James Leach was another key player, putting up 11 points and seven boards.

Meanwhile, Grayslake North strolled past Prairie Ridge with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 62-43. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Knights.

Westlake Christian Academy now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Grayslake North, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Westlake Christian Academy was dealt a bruising 72-36 loss at the hands of Grayslake North in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
