Basketball Game Preview: Rowe-Clark Masai Lions vs. Bulls College Prep Bulls

Rowe-Clark is 2-8 against Bulls College Prep since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Rowe-Clark Masai Lions will be playing at home against the Bulls College Prep Bulls at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Rowe-Clark is headed into Wednesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their seventh straight game dating back to last season on Monday. They took a blow against Butler, falling 94-39. While losing is never fun, the Masai Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 724th, while the Lynx are ranked 252nd).

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Quincy Stone, who posted 11 points and eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Akeem Sheppard, who earned five points along with eight rebounds and four steals.

Even though they lost, Rowe-Clark smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their offensive board total in three consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Bulls College Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were outmatched by St. Patrick and fell 91-33.

Rowe-Clark's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Bulls College Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 4-18.
