Soccer Recap: Swansboro Takes a Loss

After soaring to four goals the game before, Swansboro was a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They fell 3-1 to the Northside - Jacksonville Monarchs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Northside - Jacksonville this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 on October 7th.

Swansboro's goal came courtesy of Cameron Nilson, who's now up to seven this season.

Swansboro's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Northside - Jacksonville, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4-2 record this season.

Swansboro has already played their next match, a 1-1 draw against West Carteret on the 28th. As for Northside - Jacksonville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 4-1 loss against Richlands on the 28th.
