Volleyball Recap: Liberty Christian Academy Makes It Three in a Row at Home

Liberty Christian Academy's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top against the Heritage Academy Warrior by a score of 3-1. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 win the Warrior walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2024.

While Liberty Christian Academy might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Heritage Academy scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 24-26, 25-21, 25-18.

Caroline Keller paced Liberty Christian Academy's offense, picking up 13 kills. Keller got some help from Trina Scheltens and her 20 assists. Mallory Boenker controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Liberty Christian Academy's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-8. As for Heritage Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
