Soccer Recap: Hough Has No Trouble Against Ballantyne Ridge + How To Watch

In Wednesday's Canine Competition, Hough prevailed. They were the clear victors by a 5-1 margin over the Ballantyne Ridge Wolves on Wednesday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Hough's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 17th, while Ballantyne Ridge are ranked 62nd).

Hough hit Ballantyne Ridge with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Dylan Cox (2), Aayush Patel, Lukas Patrignani, and Levi Sloan.

The win made it two in a row for Hough and bumps their season record up to 3-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those two matchups. As for Ballantyne Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1-1.

Hough wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 9-2 win against Northern Guilford on the 22nd. As for Ballantyne Ridge, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-1 victory against Lee County on the 22nd.
