Volleyball Game Preview: River Valley Dust Devils vs. Odyssey Institute Minotaur + Official Tickets

River Valley hasn't had much luck against Odyssey Institute recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Dust Devils will head out on the road to face off against the Minotaur at 6:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Thursday.

Having struggled with 11 losses in a row, River Valley turned things around against Parker on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Broncs.

Meanwhile, Odyssey Institute made easy work of Chino Valley on Monday and carried off a 3-0 win. The Minotaur haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-10, 25-14.

River Valley picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 2-14. As for Odyssey Institute, their victory bumped their record up to 14-9.

River Valley suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Odyssey Institute in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Dust Devils avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
