If Crested Butte was riding high fresh off their 66-41 takedown of Ouray back in December of 2024, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Crested Butte Titans took a 56-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Fork Miners. The Titans' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

North Fork's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Moss Inman, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. Inman's afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was David Audelo, who went 6 for 14 on his way to 13 points and five boards.

Crested Butte's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for North Fork, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-5.

Crested Butte will challenge Caprock Academy at 4:00 p.m. on January 18th. North Fork has already played their next match, a 49-39 loss against Grand Valley on the 14th.
