Volleyball Recap: South LA College Prep Takes a Loss

South LA College Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Animo Watts Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Wednesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-7, 25-12.

South LA College Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Animo Watts, their win bumped their record up to 8-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South LA College Prep will venture away from home to square off against Animo Venice at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Pirates will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Knights surely won't give up without a fight. As for Animo Watts, they will take on Burton at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
