Basketball Recap: Boyertown Comes Up Short

Boyertown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 61-32 loss at the hands of the Spring-Ford Rams. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 55-31 back in January.

Boyertown lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Trey Kern, who posted eight points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Cooper Rath, who put up seven points.

Boyertown's loss dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Spring-Ford, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Boyertown nor Spring-Ford have any future games scheduled.
