Basketball Recap: Temple Christian Academy Warriors vs. Greenville Classical Academy Lions

The Temple Christian Academy Warriors had already won 15 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.7 points), and they went ahead and made it 16 on Friday. They walked away with a 64-52 win over Greenville Classical Academy. Given Temple Christian Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 105th, while the Lions are ranked 218th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

It was another big night for Jeramy Trangmar, who scored 26 points along with eight assists and six rebounds. He hasn't dropped below 16 points for 15 straight games. Luke Passetti was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.

Temple Christian Academy pushed their record up to 21-3 with that win, which was their ninth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.6 points per game. As for Greenville Classical Academy, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-9.

Temple Christian Academy will take on the Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Greenville Classical Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
