Volleyball Recap: South Plainfield Comes Up Short

South Plainfield lost against Hillsborough back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Tigers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raiders.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-10.

Cindy Loloan paced South Plainfield's offense, picking up two kills. Loloan got some help from Raika Stiglic and her three assists.

South Plainfield's loss dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Hillsborough, they pushed their record up to 8-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Looking ahead, South Plainfield will face off against South River at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hillsborough, they will square off against Stuart Country Day at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
