Recap: O'Fallon Panthers vs. Collinsville Kahoks
The O'Fallon Panthers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight defeat. They fell 58-48 to Collinsville. O'Fallon has struggled against Collinsville recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Collinsville got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jamorie Wysinger out in front who scored 23 points. Wysinger is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Another player making a difference was Nick Horras, who scored 15 points along with seven assists.
O'Fallon dropped their record down to 17-10 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Collinsville, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 25-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. O'Fallon has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Belleville East at 7:30 p.m. on February 9th. Belleville East has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 3-0 during that stretch of close contests. As for Collinsville, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Glenwood at 7:30 p.m.
