Gilbert Christian had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Gilbert Classical Academy Spartans. That's more bragging rights for the Knights, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Gilbert Christian was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-22, 26-24.

Talon Heafey was the offensive standout of the match as he had 13 digs. Luke Warren also deserves some recognition as he had his first digs of the season.

Ethan Cork and Owen Stuckey certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Cork had 11 digs, while Stuckey had seven digs and two aces. Cork has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last four times he's played.

Gilbert Christian's victory bumped their record up to 14-10. As for Gilbert Classical Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-7.
