Morgan Township had lost four straight headed into Tuesday's contest, but Marshall Craigin didn't let it get to five. Everything went the Cherokees' way against the Portage Indians on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 win for which the team can thank Craigin, who had 15 digs and three aces. He is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had ten or more in each of the last six games he's played.

Morgan Township walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 26-24, 25-14, 25-22.

Morgan Township's win bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Portage, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-17 record this season.

Morgan Township wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Andrean on the 7th. As for Portage, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Valparaiso on the 8th.
