Baseball Recap: Lincolnton Takes a Loss

Lincolnton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 19-2 to the Ultimate Prep Baseball Academy Bulldogs.

Lincolnton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ariyon Allen, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run. Garrett Bryant also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Lincolnton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Ultimate Prep Baseball Academy, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lincolnton will host Stuart W. Cramer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ultimate Prep Baseball Academy, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Union Prep Academy at 6:30 p.m. on the 20th.
