Baseball Recap: Attica Red Ramblers vs. South Vermillion Wildcats

Attica had lost three straight on the road, but on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 4-12-1 to make it four. They fell just short of the South Vermillion Wildcats by a score of 7-6. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-6 on Monday.

Dane Goris made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 4-for-4 with one run and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Jayce Larson, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run.

As for South Vermillion, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.2 runs over those games.
