Fairwinds Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Varsity Opponent an easy 56-31 victory. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 59-21 on December 3rd.

Fairwinds Christian will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Bethel Baptist Academy at 5:15 p.m. on January 10, 2025. As for Varsity Opponent, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 50-33 win against Philadelphia Christian School on the 19th.
