Baseball Recap: Crooms Academy Comes Up Short

Crooms Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Taylor Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 12-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Crooms Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caden Bachand, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Crooms Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Taylor, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-5.

While Crooms Academy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
