Football Recap: Jackson Academy Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Jackson Academy's offense. They were outmatched by the South Choctaw Academy Rebels and fell 40-0. Having soared to a lofty 46 points in the game before, the Eagles' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Jackson Academy dropped their record down to 1-6 with the loss, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. As for South Choctaw Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-3.

Looking ahead, Jackson Academy will challenge Crenshaw Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for South Choctaw Academy, they are taking a road trip to square off against Jay at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
