Bethesda-Chevy Chase picks up seventh straight win on the road

Recap: Bethesda-Chevy Chase Barons vs. Seneca Valley Screamin' Eagles

The Bethesda-Chevy Chase Barons entered their tilt with the Seneca Valley Screamin' Eagles with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Bethesda-Chevy Chase walked away with a 49-39 victory over Seneca Valley on Monday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Bethesda-Chevy Chase also won the last time the pair played back in February.

Among those leading the charge was Anna Tercyak, who scored 25 points along with five rebounds. The contest was her third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaylin Harried, who scored nine points along with five rebounds and three steals.

Despite the defeat, Seneca Valley saw an underclassman step up: Jayden Addison scored 16 points along with nine steals. Addison is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Even though they lost, Seneca Valley were smashing the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bethesda-Chevy Chase only pulled down six offensive rebounds.

Bethesda-Chevy Chase's win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.3 points per game. As for Seneca Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bethesda-Chevy Chase will face off against Richard Montgomery at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Richard Montgomery will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Seneca Valley, they will head out on the road to face off against Paint Branch at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
