Frankton has gone 7-2 against Oak Hill recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Eagles are taking a road trip to face off against the Golden Eagles at 5:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Frankton's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Anderson as they made off with a 13-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Indians: they've now won eight in a row.

Zoey Coppess was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Kallie Gibson also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.
Frankton was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .481. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Oak Hill was able to grind out a solid victory over Lewis Cass on Tuesday, taking the game 11-7.
Kora Weller spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and three unearned) runs on eight hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Kierstin Peterson was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and one double. Another player making a difference was Ryleigh Myers, who went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases and two runs.
Frankton's record is now 6-4. As for Oak Hill, their record now sits at 8-0.
Thursday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Frankton hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .337. However, it's not like Oak Hill struggles in that department as they've averaged .431. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Frankton couldn't quite finish off Oak Hill in their previous meeting back in April of 2025 and fell 8-6. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
