Jordyn Taylor, Williams's leading rebounder, solidified her role on Friday. Taylor was unstoppable, dropping a double-double with 25 points and 14 rebounds. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

Even though Taylor couldn't lead Williams over Person, she won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Williams is 8-1 against Person going back to February of 2022, a lead they'll look to extend.
