Basketball Recap: Unalakleet Gets the Win

Unalakleet won the last time they faced Shaktoolik and things went their way on Saturday too. The Unalakleet Wolfpack came out on top against the Shaktoolik Wolverines by a score of 69-60.

Unalakleet's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Shaktoolik, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.

Unalakleet is taking a road trip to take on Nome-Beltz at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Nome-Beltz knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Unalakleet likes a good challenge. Shaktoolik does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
