Volleyball Game Preview: Lehigh Lightning vs. Cape Coral Seahawks

Lehigh is 2-8 against Cape Coral since October of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Lightning will take on the Seahawks in a tournament on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Lehigh sitting on five straight wins and Cape Coral on six.

Lehigh's tournament run continued when they took on Island Coast on Tuesday. The Lightning walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Gators.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Tuesday Cape Coral sidestepped Gateway for a 3-2 win.

Lehigh's victory bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Cape Coral, their win bumped their record up to 14-10.

Lehigh came out on top in a nail-biter against Cape Coral when the teams last played back in September, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lightning since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
