Sharpstown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 26th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Sterling Raiders and fell 68-8. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Apollos this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 52-7 back in November of 2024.

Sterling's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Destiny Lewis, who went 12 for 18 on her way to 29 points in addition to eight steals and six assists. Lewis is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least four every time she's taken the court this season. Madison Morrow was another key player, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 11 boards.

Sharpstown's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Sterling, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-12 record this season.
