Volleyball Game Preview: Toms River South Indians vs. Middletown South Eagles

After both having extra time off, the Toms River South Indians and the Middletown South Eagles will shake off the rust and duke it out at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Toms River South took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They won by a set and slipped past Freehold Boro 2-1.

Meanwhile, Middletown South posted their closest victory since March 31st on Wednesday. They skirted past Toms River North 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Toms River South pushed their record up to 5-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Middletown South, their victory bumped their record up to 5-6.
