Floydada has gone a perfect 4-0 against Clarendon recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Whirlwinds will head out to challenge the Broncos at 4:30 p.m. Floydada is coming into the game hot, having won their last eight games.

Last Friday, Floydada got the win against Non Varsity Opponent by a conclusive 7-1. The Whirlwinds might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 18 matches by six runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Clarendon's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. Neither they nor Non Varsity Opponent could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 6-6 tie.

Clarendon's draw gives them a new season record of 19-5-1. As for Floydada, their win bumped their record up to 23-5.

Floydada came out on top in a nail-biter against Clarendon in their previous matchup back in March, sneaking past 8-6. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Whirlwinds since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
