Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cabrillo). They put the hurt on the Morro Bay Pirates with a sharp 67-44 victory on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Conquistadores have posted against the Pirates since January 24, 2018.

Cabrillo's victory bumped their record up to 4-13. As for Morro Bay, their loss dropped their record down to 4-18.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cabrillo will challenge Nipomo at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Considering Nipomo has lost five straight at home and Cabrillo six straight on the road (dating back to last season), this one might come down to who's more desperate to change their momentum. As for Morro Bay, they will square off against Santa Ynez at 6:30 p.m. on February 7th.
