Softball Recap: Columbia River Rapids vs. Washougal Panthers

Columbia River won the last time they faced Washougal and things went their way on Friday too. The Rapids put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 14-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Rapids, who have now won three contests by 12 runs or more so far this season.

Haylee Delano made a splash while hitting and pitching. She pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

In other batting news, Columbia River let Brooklyn Vickery and Solei Houk run wild.
