Basketball Recap: Astoria Takes a Loss

Astoria and Scappoose squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Astoria had to settle for second. They fell 79-68 to the Scappoose Indians. The Fishermen's defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Astoria's loss dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Scappoose, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-9.

Looking ahead, Astoria will challenge St. Helens at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Scappoose does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
