Football Game Preview: Foard Tigers vs. Lake Norman Charter Knights

The Foard Tigers will welcome the Lake Norman Charter Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Foard gave up the first points on Friday, but they didn't give up any more after. They blew past North Lincoln 27-7. That 20 point margin sets a new team best for the Tigers this season.

Meanwhile, Lake Norman Charter blew past Lincoln Charter, posting a 35-7 victory. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-0.

Lake Norman Charter's win came from a few key players Foard will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Dorian Morgan, who picked up 98 receiving yards and one TD, and also rushed for 46 yards and one score. His longest reception was for an incredible 93 yards. Another player making a difference was Dylan Wignot, who threw for 205 yards and four touchdowns on only 15 passes.

The win got Lake Norman Charter back to even at 5-5. As for Foard, their record is now 4-6.
