Turtle Lake won the last time they faced Frederic and things went their way on Friday too. The Lakers simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Vikings 67-35. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-17.

Lexi Tarman was a one-woman wrecking crew as she dropped a double-double with 30 points and 11 steals. Grace Hubbard was another key player, dropping a double-double with 16 points and 12 boards.

Turtle Lake smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive boards every time they've taken the court this season.

Turtle Lake now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Frederic, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
