Schaumburg Christian dropped their record down to 5-12 on Thursday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They lost 11-1 to the Parkview Christian Academy Falcons. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Conquerors couldn't push the score so high this time.

Schaumburg Christian saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Vander Herman, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.

As for Parkview Christian Academy, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-7-1. Considering they have won nine games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

On Parkview Christian Academy's side, Griffin Glenn made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Glenn has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, James Jefferson was a standout: he went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April. Christian Mulder was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four stolen bases and two runs.

Coming up, Schaumburg Christian will face off against Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Parkview Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
