Volleyball Recap: Mt. Diablo Takes a Loss

Mt. Diablo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Alhambra Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on March 4th.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-17, 25-15.

Mt. Diablo's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Alhambra, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Mt. Diablo is set to square off against their familiar foe Benicia at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Alhambra will take on rival Berean Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
